During the sixth session of the State Commission on the Coordination of Events for the Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide on Saturday, Chairman of Armenia’s Constitutional Court Gagik Harutyunyan submitted to the Armenian president a package of legal demands for the elimination of consequences of the Armenian Genocide.
Panorama.am quoted Harutyunyan as saying that in June a scientific-analytical center was set up at the Council of the Pan-Armenian Conference of Lawyers. The center’s lawyers developed a relevant package, which was submitted to President Serzh Sargsyan.
The package is not subject to disclosure now, Harutyunyan said. Discussion will be held on November 20-21, and then the public will be given details.
“It is necessary to carry out long work for many years in various directions,” the CC head added
